"Practise It Over again" is a vocal performed past American contemporary worship band Elevation Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Chocolate-brown, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[ii] the song was released equally the first single from their 2017 anthology There Is a Cloud.[3] [four] Information technology was released to Christian radio on February 23, 2018. The vocal peaked at No. 6 on the United states of america Hot Christian Songs chart, becoming their second Elevation 10 unmarried from that chart. It lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their second longest charting vocal.[5] The vocal is played in a B-flat major central, and 172 beats per minute.[6]

Background [edit]

The earliest version of "Do Information technology Over again" was released on September 9, 2016, as part of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The live version of "Do It Once more" was then released on February 17, 2018, during the pre-order period of At that place Is a Cloud, every bit the second promotional single of the album.[8] [9] It was recorded during the 12-day "Code Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[10] held by Height Church building at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Northward Carolina.[eleven] "Do Information technology Once again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the vocal released on the same day.[12]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Behind the Song' characteristic published on NewReleaseToday.[xiii] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired by a sermon titled "Don't Terminate on half-dozen" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Briefing, whereby Matt Redman identified a song concept.[thirteen] Chris Brown, in relation to the song's takeaway message, said "We want people to know that God is faithful."[13]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Do It Again" was published on YouTube on September 30, 2016.[xiv] [15] The live music video of "Practice Information technology Again" which too includes the reprise, recorded at Peak Church's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Due north Carolina was released on February 24, 2017, through YouTube.[16] The lyric video of the song's Spanish version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Do Information technology Again)" was released on August 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live acoustic performance video of the song was then published on March 1, 2018 via YouTube.[18]
